Measuring 15 feet 12 inches by 6 feet 4 inches, these hatches featured an electrically driven opening motor, ensuring ease of use and reliability. The design offered 7m² of free airflow, thanks to its sliding mechanism that eliminated any obstruction to ventilation. We used laminated and heat-strengthened low iron glass to L40, maximising both safety and light penetration.
In addition to the sliding hatches, we also provided a fixed skylight measuring 16 feet 1 inch by 6 feet. This thermally broken multi-pane rooflight was designed to further augment natural daylight within the development, enhancing the living spaces with warmth and brightness.
Our bespoke skylight solutions not only met the client’s functional requirements but also contributed significantly to the aesthetic enhancement of the development.
