Position Specifics
To be eligible for this opening candidates should possess a strong passion for manufacturing and engineering, a willingness to learn and collaborate, and a high level of dedication. Surespan encourages individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply, as the programme aims to create an inclusive and vibrant learning environment.
Here are some key details of the apprenticeship programme:
- Hourly rate: £5.28
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday; 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM on Fridays.
- Apprenticeship Details: Business Administration Level 3 Standard – delivered by Walsall College.
- Duration: 18 months, with an additional 3 months allocated for the end-point assessment.
- Day release: Virtual bi-weekly sessions, with workplace progress reviews taking place every 6-8 weeks.

- 20% off-the-job training: Ensuring that apprentices have sufficient time each week to complete their apprenticeship training or engage in self-directed study.
- Appropriate Programme: Offering apprentices the opportunity to gain experience in all areas required by the Apprenticeship Standard.
- Progress Reviews: Ensuring that the employer attends regular progress reviews with the assessor and apprentice to discuss the apprentice’s progression and provide feedback when appropriate.
