For this project, Surespan supplied five 35.5-inch x 35.5-inch Fire Rated Roof Hatches, each equipped with an integral guard hand railing. These hatches are noted for their thermal break and have been rigorously tested for 4-hour fire resistance, conforming to EN 1634-1:2014 standards.
The hatches utilise environmentally friendly materials, including non-combustible mineral and fireboard cladding. This choice not only enhances thermal efficiency but also aligns with sustainability goals.
Finished in a light grey polyester powder coating, the hatches offer an aesthetically pleasing solution that complements the school’s design. The durable coating ensures longevity, mirroring the building’s masonry veneer in maintaining the facility’s appearance and functionality over time.
