Above it, a 20,000-square-metre green roof serves as a public recreational space, seamlessly integrating with the Eastern Coastal Park Connector Network and contributing to both urban sustainability and community well-being.
Surespan provided SAC marine-grade aluminium, single-leaf, electronically operated, flush floor access hatches for this groundbreaking project. These hatches were designed to fit a structural opening of 4000mm x 1400mm, each equipped with an internal single-line handrail fitted inside the lid for enhanced safety. The operation of these access solutions is managed through an SP1185/C control panel, supporting 230V-24V for single-leaf access hatches with synchronised actuators. Additionally, an SP1165 push-button up/down selector switch, rated IP54, ensures user-friendly access control.
To further enhance accessibility and convenience, wireless remote controls with key fobs were also provided, allowing for effortless operation of the hatches. This feature underscores the commitment to incorporating advanced technology and user-centric design in infrastructure projects.
