What finishes are available?

The roof hatch is available in several finishes, including aluminium, stainless steel, polyester powder-coated (single or twin colour RAL), and anodised.

How is the Roof Hatch insulated?

The hatch is insulated with a 75mm (PIR) polyisocyanurate board to achieve a thermal performance of 0.26 W/m²K. This insulation helps maintain temperature control within the building and enhances energy efficiency.

What are the available locking options?

We offer several locking options to meet your security needs:

LO4: Pad lockable external handle with toggle latch and internal cablock.
LO6: European deadlock with a thumb turn internal mechanism and key external, accompanied by a non-locking external handle.
LO7: European deadlock with internal and external key locking, along with a non-locking external handle.

Do You Supply Drawings For Approval?

Yes, Surespan supplies detailed drawings for approval. These include submittal drawings available in PDF and DWG formats to help you accurately integrate the roof hatch into your project plans.

Our SureGuard Hand Railing system enhances safety on all Roof Access Hatches. It features a custom-sized, permanent 3-sided handrail attached to the hatch’s upstand, with a spring-loaded self-closing side gate. Available in any RAL colour with a durable polyester powder coating, it ensures additional safety and accessibility for hatch users.
