Glazed Smoke Vent

The SRHGE-AOV Glazed Smoke Vent provides smoke ventilation and daylighting in a thermally broken glazed assembly. It features a double-glazed lid, sizes up to 3000 x 1400mm, 24V actuation, electro-magnetic locking and EN12101-2 smoke ventilation test data. For UK projects requiring combined personnel roof access and AOV functionality, please specify the appropriate tested access and AOV product, such as SRHP-AOV or Exi-Vent, subject to project requirements.

Resistance To Wind Loads

Our smoke vents comply with EN12101-2:2003 wind load standards, ensuring durability and safety in adverse weather.

Our Glazed Automatic Smoke Vent not only provides essential smoke ventilation but also allows natural light to enter the building, enhancing the aesthetic and reducing lighting costs.
The glazing consists of a 35.5mm sealed double glazed unit with a U-value of 1.5 W/m²K, featuring toughened and laminated panes and an argon-filled warm edge silver spacer. This construction provides excellent insulation and durability.
The thermally broken lid and frame prevent thermal bridging, greatly enhancing the vent’s energy efficiency by maintaining consistent internal temperatures and reducing heating and cooling costs.
This vent features electromagnetic locking, ensuring it remains securely closed when not in operation. This locking mechanism also allows for quick release and activation in the event of a fire.
