Surespan SRHE/AOV automatic Smoke Vents are designed to open in a variety of formats from standard 140° through to 160°.

All our standard AOV ventilators are manufactured to meet the requirements of Building Regulations, Approved Document B, BS9999 and EN12101-2 and are supplied CE marked.

Operated by a 24v DC actuator, the smoke vent lid is filled with 50mm of CFC and HCFC free insulation offering a minimum U-Value of 0.43W/m2K to BS3958: Part 5: 1986. This offers a high level of thermal insulation against heat loss and condensation, together with excellent sound absorption properties.

The vent lids are supported by heavy-duty stainless steel axel pins and feature an integral ‘wrap over’ edge, incorporating double unbroken EPDM seals. Our AOVs are designed to be wired direct into the BMS (Building Management System) or FAS (Fire Alarm System) by others for complete monitoring.
