Custom Smoke Vent

The SRHE custom smoke vent is designed for dependable smoke ventilation on commercial and industrial projects. Available in sizes up to 118.1 x 70.9 in. (3000 x 1800 mm), it combines a thermally broken insulated lid and upstand with 24V actuation and multiple control options for project-specific specifications.

Insulated upstand options include a 2 in. (50 mm) thermal break and either mineral wool or PIR insulation, depending on specification.

Resistance To Wind Loads

Supported by documented EN 12101-2 wind-load test data for dependable operation in adverse weather; local code acceptance should be confirmed by the project team.

The custom smoke vent can be manufactured in sizes up to 70.9 x 118.1 in. (1800 x 3000 mm) and can incorporate options such as concealed actuators, emergency battery backup, wind deflectors, rain and wind sensors, and either a solid or glazed top.
This product is supported by documented EN 12101-2 smoke-vent test data. For North American projects, final acceptance should be coordinated with the AHJ, project fire strategy, and design team.
The unit can be supplied with 2 in. (50 mm) PIR insulation with approximate U-factor 0.08 and R-value about 13, together with insulated upstand options that help reduce thermal bridging through the assembly.
The smoke vent uses a 24V DC actuator and can be configured with a range of control and safety options, including smoke ventilation controls, ventilation switching, and optional electromagnetic locking.
