Companionway Ladders

Surespan SHP Companionway Ladders provide safe, comfortable access where a shallower climbing angle is preferred over a vertical ladder. Built for commercial and industrial applications, they combine durable aluminum construction, stable tread geometry, and continuous handrails to support everyday roof, plant, and service access.

Product features

  • Aluminum construction with 19.7 in. (500 mm) channel stringer spacing.
  • Checker plate treads spaced at approximately 9.8 in. (250 mm) centers.
  • Designed around established fixed-ladder safety criteria for commercial and industrial access applications.
  • Continuous handrails on both sides with a minimum clear dimension of 21.3 in. (540 mm) between rails.
  • Optional polyester powder coating available in standard RAL colors.
