Yes. The Horizon range uses a thermally broken frame design to help reduce heat transfer through the assembly and support improved interior comfort.

How high should the upstand be above the roof finish?

The upstand should be fully weathered to at least 5.9 in. above the roof surface at its lowest point.

Loading and Access Options

Our walk-on glass rooflights are designed for regular use in occupied exterior areas. Single-panel and multi-panel layouts are available for larger openings, and the system can be configured to meet project-specific loading and access requirements. Stated performance includes a uniformly distributed load of up to 5.0 kN/m² and a concentrated load of up to 4.5 kN, making Horizon suitable for residential, commercial, and other heavy-use applications where daylight and safe access are both important.
