Yes. The recessed lid is designed to receive project-specific infill materials so the hatch can blend with the surrounding floor finish.
The HIAC uses a self-draining, water-managed design. Water passing the double EPDM seals is directed into an internal drainage channel with a 3/4 in. hose adaptor for connection to an external drain line.
The range can be specified for different loading requirements, from pedestrian duty through to demanding vehicular applications, depending on the project brief.
The hatch is designed for practical installation in both new-build and retrofit projects, with fitting instructions available to support coordination and installation planning.

Additional safety options for recessed floor hatches include a pressure-sensitive edge for electrically operated units, a retractable handhold for easier entry and exit, a Ladder Up Post for vertical access support, and a safety grid to provide fall protection while the hatch is open.

Recessed floor hatches can be paired with multiple ladder configurations to match the access route and available space.
